This Sunday we will explore ways we can seek to be God's church. Using the passage from Proverbs 29:18. Consider these versions as you prayerfully prepare for worship this week.
NIV: Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
The Message Bible: If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.
NRSV: Where there is no prophecy, the people cast off restraint,
but happy are those who keep the law.
KJV: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
