Janet Rettke – Bookkeeper

When you first meet our bookkeeper, Janette, you notice her bubbly personality and of course, that Minnesota accent. She was born in Fairmont, Minnesota and grew up in Trimont and Chaska. Before moving to Hudson, Florida, she and her family lived in Forsyth County, Georgia for seven years. DuWaynne, her husband of thirty-one years, is a sales manager for The Wattstopper, an electrical controls company. They have two daughters, Ciara who is a student and lives at with them, and Sybil, a teacher in Minnesota and married with three children. Janet loves dogs and currently has four at home. Her parents are snowbirds dividing their time between Port Charlotte, Florida, and of course…Minnesota. She and DuWaynne love snorkeling, riding motorcycles, and spending time with their grandchildren.

Janet has a business school degree and twenty-seven years of bookkeeping experience, eighteen of which are in church work. (It should be noted that in college, Janette earned one credit in Folk Dancing which she feels is vital to 21^st century bookkeeping. ) She joined the staff of FUMC in February of 2006. Along with her big laugh and fun personality, she is a dedicated, organized, and very caring Christian woman.

Janet and DuWaynne are members of Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey. She loves the FUMC family and is proud to be a part of the ministry here. Her prayer is that the Lord will continue to bless His wonderful servants at FUMC.
